First dates can go in about a million directions. Sometimes you leave the date with butterflies fluttering all about in your stomach, and sometimes you leave hoping to find a nearby public restroom so you can vomit. We all try to be ourselves, but it can be extremely difficult. We overshare, under-share, laugh too hard, get food in our teach, say something accidentally egotistical. You can only hope to get a redo, aka date #2, but we all know that that is not always guaranteed. A relationship is so fragile after a first date, you definitely don't need to meet up in person to end things, everything is so new, but that reality can make things hella stressful as well.
